Job Description
- Provides timely, accurate turnaround of client or partner inquiries/requests and leads the onboard process for new resellers.
- Monitors pricing opportunities that involve multiple partners, to ensure pricing parity; escalates to management any pricing suggestions based on knowledge of opportunity.
- Leads pre-sales efforts by responding to Requests for Information (RFI) or Requests for Proposals (RFP) or by developing custom proposals.
- Maintains customer relationship management (CRM) system to ensure proper fields are completed and updated for tracking and useful analytics.
- Tracks agreements and leads the process to ensure successful renewals by effectively communicating with the client and upselling to meet client needs.
- Updates pipeline opportunities on a consistent basis and runs accurate reports for leadership; creates new reports as necessary.
- Conducts sales calls and participates in meetings with prospects as needed (virtually or at client site), demonstrating Cass web tools and internal processes/procedures.
- Trains and demos web products to clients, prospects or partners on Cass processes, services, and business intelligence portal.
- Arranges and conducts tours at Cass and provides tradeshow support.
- Develops and maintains sales presentations and print material and orders advertisement specialty items that are consistent with Cass Branding Guidelines.
- Maintains reports on key metrics such as web traffic, keyword rankings, and lead conversions and creates and implements plans for improvement.
- Provides input on marketing strategy, campaigns, and overall planning and creates, manages, and tracks any approved marketing campaigns from list development to opportunity creation.
- Works with external vendors and supports content creation (case studies, blog posts, white papers, etc.) and publishes content to website and social media platforms; ensures existing content stays current and is compliant with Cass Branding Guidelines.

- Demonstrated highly effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with prospective executives and the ability to communicate at all levels throughout large organizations.
- Enthusiastic and professional demeanor exhibiting a high level of honesty and sincerity in interacting with prospects and customers so that a professional and trusting relationship can be formed.
- Proficient listening, questioning and analytical skills necessary to formulate the needs, objectives and business requirements presented by prospects.
- Cognitive ability to translate Cass’s processes into successful RFP’s.
- Ability to create and maintain organized documentation.
- Strong planning and organizing skills, with the ability to balance multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- CRM software experience required, preferably Salesforce.
- Microsoft Office experience required, with intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint for presentations.
- Ability to travel up to 10% or approximately 1 week a quarter.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related fields or equivalent related experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in Sales Support or account management, preferably in a technical service or channel sales environment.
- Direct experience in sales for the utility (electricity or gas) industry preferred.
