The salary range for this role is:
$114,725.52 - $206,420.24Responsibilities:
Business Management and Development
- Translate national brand strategies, marketing plans, and insights into sales strategies by key channels
- Support the development of strategic and Annual Operating Plans (quota, trade, situation assessments)
- Create channel specific sales objectives to achieve priorities and sales objectives including distribution, pricing, shelving, merchandising on existing and innovation items
- Lead the development of sales strategies and tactics, providing the support and tools that are rich in category and shopper insights that help Field Sales execute the initiatives in the marketplace with excellence
- Participate and contribute to the Integrated Business Planning process (IBP) to build greater discipline and muscle in the forecasting, allocation and supply processes
Trade Spend and Promotion Management
- Develop trade promotion strategies, trade merchandising plans, and major trade initiatives
- Track, analyze and refine the efficiency and effectiveness of specific trade promotions, sales events and plans
- Provide analysis and feedback to incremental spending requests and work with appropriate cross functional group
Communication and Project Management
- Provide regular updates to Field Sales on key marketing elements (FSI/Media calendars, Catalina, etc.)
- Develop channel specific sales materials for price changes, go-to-market strategies (GTMS), quotas, and supply imbalances
- Provide support for product recalls, label changes, innovation launches, and SKU rationalizations
- Lead the development of content and materials for Del Monte’s annual National Sales Meeting and selling season; contribute to the creation of materials for the National Marketing Webcast to the organization and to marketing’s quarterly business and promotion reviews
- Orchestrate the collaboration and communication between the sales and marketing organizations by leading the BDM Advisory Council and quarterly market tours

Qualifications:
- BA/BS required; MBA preferred
- 8-10 years CPG, Center Store, or Food manufacturing company experience in customer-facing or trade fund budget management roles
- HQ customer marketing or cross-functional experience
- Leadership: Ability to lead projects and initiatives while influencing cross-functional partners; must have ability to mentor/coach their team while achieving goals.
