Sales Representative

Your Key Responsibilities

• Become technically proficient in the Schaeffler product portfolio
• Continuously evaluate and update the market potential and competitive landscape for Schaeffler products within the assigned territory
• Establish strong relationships with distributors and end customer contacts
• Travel within the territory to meet with customers
• Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a timely and professional manner
• Prepare reports on sales statistics, open orders, open quotes, etc.
• Participate in industry seminars, trade shows, and networking opportunities

Your Qualifications
Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field or a strong proven mechanical aptitude w/ non-technical bachelor's degree.
• Must have a strong mechanical aptitude along with strong sales presentation skills.
• Effective communicator - listens to understand, oral, written and presentation skills.
• Willing and able to travel 50% overnight as needed to support Schaeffler and our customers

Preferred:

• Ability to influence at a leadership level, strong ethics, and high agility in a complex organization.
• 2 years selling engineered components to distributors or OEMs
