Your Key Responsibilities
- Become technically proficient in the Schaeffler product portfolio
- Continuously evaluate and update the market potential and competitive landscape for Schaeffler products within the assigned territory
- Establish strong relationships with distributors and end customer contacts
- Travel within the territory to meet with customers
- Respond to customer inquiries and orders in a timely and professional manner
- Prepare reports on sales statistics, open orders, open quotes, etc.
- Participate in industry seminars, trade shows, and networking opportunities
Your Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Technical Field or a strong proven mechanical aptitude w/ non-technical bachelor's degree.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude along with strong sales presentation skills.
- Effective communicator - listens to understand, oral, written and presentation skills.
- Willing and able to travel 50% overnight as needed to support Schaeffler and our customers
Preferred:
- Ability to influence at a leadership level, strong ethics, and high agility in a complex organization.
- 2 years selling engineered components to distributors or OEMs
