Metropolitan Linen is seeking a dedicated, aggressive, and results focused Outside Sales Representative in the Southern NH/North Shore MA area. Sales representatives are assigned to an exclusive territory and will partner with a wide range of clients in the hospitality industry focusing on Linen and Uniform services. Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
- Develop new business opportunities within the restaurant, catering and related food service industries.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of hospitality needs with owners/decisions makers and promote service solutions to address customer’s needs.
- Maintain an active sales funnel to build partnerships with potential customers.
- Produce immediate sales growth to meet or exceed sales objectives/quotas.
- Follow-up on New Account Requests provided by Customer Service.
- Represent Metropolitan Linen at networking events
- Communicate customer needs to the team and provide solutions on an as-needed basis.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in outside sales required.
- Superior prospecting, presentation, and closing skills required.
- General computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
