Sales Representative duties and responsibilities:
· Presenting sales proposals to active & potential customers
· Pursue new customers and retailers.
· Maintain customers inventory levels and handle visuals, merchandising levels through running sales reports and analysis.
· Promptly and effectively process order entry and quotes through our systems.
· Promptly answer customers emails, phone calls and requests and problem solving
· Evaluating customer needs and provide the white glove service
· Selling company products or services and growing them through the sales life cycle
· Able to work in a fast paste environment and work under pressure**
· Must be able to meet goals and sales quotas and thinks outside the box
· Be familiar with our programs, packages, systems and provide tools to help grow accounts.
· Educating customers on brand, products and services
· Developing effective sales strategy
· Identifying opportunities to improve sales performance.
· Monitoring competitor activities
· Maintaining good relationships with retailers, staff and sales associates
· Conducting market and industry research
· Negotiating with existing and potential customers
· Maintaining records of sales leads
· Resolving customer complaints
· Collaborating with the marketing, accounting, customer service and production department
· Semi-annual Inventory sample line clean up and tagging, update price tags and trays.
· Plan and attend trunk shows, private shows, tradeshows as needed
Outside Sales Representative requirements and qualifications:
· Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or Communications
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in Outside Sales in Luxury Jewelry/Diamonds Industry
· Experience with CRM software. Proficiency in word, Excel & MS office
· Familiarity with different sales techniques, sales pitches
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills
· Excellent customer service skills
· Highly developed attention to detail
· Excellent organizational skills
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to work independently
· Able to lift up to 30 Ibs
· Travel to retail stores, Sales meeting and trade shows
· Proven track record of B2B & B2C sales
· Travel is 100% across the US territory
