The Sales Operations Manager, develops and controls drivers to motivate our sales team to develop their skills to achieve their sales goals and KPI targets.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Monitors future forecast sales revenue to determine operational staff and inventory capacity via the crewing and “busy” calendar in Party Track
- Manages the on-boarding and training of new members of the Sales team
- Conducts weekly contract review and follows-up with comments and recommendations to Sales team
- Outlines Sales expectations and guidelines in our Sales Manual
- Ensures that guidelines are being followed in the Sales Orders while doing contract review
- Provides recommendations for non-active account realignments
- Send quarterly report to upper management with prospecting activity
- Provides monthly reports to the Sales team and General Manager, including monthly Sales targets and YTD sales achievement
- Conducts quarterly meetings with the Operations Manager and line supervisors to identify and streamline sales and operations procedures
- Conduct monthly debrief on largest events (top 3 for month) to determine quality improvements
- Implement metrics and dashboards for key deliverables to support leadership development, business decision-making, problem solving, and performance management
- Oversees and tracks client resolution challenges and issues
- Serves as a subject-matter expert and a key point of contact on tools and processes related to Sales Operations
- Maintenance of CRM Platform along with providing day to day user support and running of reports
- Conducts & monitors sales phone calls, including cold calling potential clients to gather information and data
- Consults with key marketing and sales teams to help drive success across multiple initiatives and identify new growth opportunities
- Manages, develops and control drivers to motivate sales force to develop their skills to achieve their sales goals and KPI targets
- Manages the Inside Sales team
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Minimum of five (5) years of outside sales experience within one of the fields of event planning and production, catering services, hotel sales/catering services, trade show exhibit design and production services or similar agency services and production.
- A proven track record of reaching sales targets within a high volume organization while also showing increased sales revenue year over year.
- Must be self-motivated and have a keen understanding of how to hunt for and win new clients within the core target markets of our business.
- Ability to maintain an established client base accounts that will need to continue to be serviced while ensuring you are cultivating a relationship that allows you to secure business within that client’s portfolio that is not currently with Hensley Event Resources

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
