Sales Manager/Sales Associate

Sales Territories: WA and OR

Position Summary

• Build and grow customer base in the assigned territories
• Develop and build sales volume
• Improve product performance and increase sales & profitability
• Set sales forecast, and to meet or exceed sales goals
• Prepare and constantly update customer target list
• Reach out to the new leads and turn them into customers
• Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
• Manage the accounts and understand their needs
• Conduct calls and meet with customers on a regular basis
• Provide excellent customer service
• Train and educate retail sales people on products
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports, and submit to management
• Stay on top of industry trends and understand the competitions
• Monitor AR aging report to ensure that customers pay on a timely manner
• Manage within the assigned expense budget
• Attend furniture trade shows
• Timely responses to incoming calls and emails
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
• A minimum of 3 years of successful outside sales experience
• Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively
• Excellent interpersonal communication abilities and social skills
• Excellent verbal and written with strong emphasis on listening and presenting
• Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong organizational skills
• Self-motivated
• Detail oriented
• Customer service oriented
• Team focused
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications is a plus
• Understanding on importing is a plus
• Willingness and ability to work under cross-cultural environment
