Sales Territories: WA and OR
Position Summary
- Build and grow customer base in the assigned territories
- Develop and build sales volume
- Improve product performance and increase sales & profitability
- Set sales forecast, and to meet or exceed sales goals
- Prepare and constantly update customer target list
- Reach out to the new leads and turn them into customers
- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Manage the accounts and understand their needs
- Conduct calls and meet with customers on a regular basis
- Provide excellent customer service
- Train and educate retail sales people on products
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, and submit to management
- Stay on top of industry trends and understand the competitions
- Monitor AR aging report to ensure that customers pay on a timely manner
- Manage within the assigned expense budget
- Attend furniture trade shows
- Timely responses to incoming calls and emails
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time
- A minimum of 3 years of successful outside sales experience
- Ability to multi task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Excellent interpersonal communication abilities and social skills
- Excellent verbal and written with strong emphasis on listening and presenting
- Strong computer skills and understanding of spreadsheet
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Customer service oriented
- Team focused
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Communications is a plus
- Understanding on importing is a plus
- Willingness and ability to work under cross-cultural environment
