As the Senior Manager of Sales at Sawmill Creek Resort, you will achieve revenue and customer satisfaction goals by negotiating key group business & coordinating the execution of that business with other departments.
- Achieve budget goals by executing sales activities within assigned market.
- Assist in the development of annual sales goals.
- Maintains effective internal/external correspondence.
- Develops data and recommends programs to meet client's needs.
- Represents the hotel on a local & regional basis to promote sales efforts.
- Prepares proposals & solicits files on a timely basis to confirm business.
- Uses outside sales calls to solicit existing and new clients.
- Conducts on-site client inspections and entertainment.
- Contacts in-house customers to foster additional business or repeat bookings.
- Develop plans, special sales, activities and promotions to increase sales volume and profitability.
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Associates degree/vocational or technical or 2 years or more of sales experience is preferred
- Willing to work various shifts and days with the ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
- Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.
- Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
