Job Title: Hunter - EdTech Industry
Position Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Hunter within the rapidly evolving EdTech industry. As a Hunter, you will play a critical role in identifying, prospecting, and securing new business opportunities for our innovative educational technology solutions. This position requires a proactive approach to sales, a deep understanding of the education landscape, and the ability to effectively communicate the value proposition of our products to potential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize various channels including cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and social media to identify and engage with prospective clients.
- Market Research: Stay informed about current trends, challenges, and opportunities within the EdTech industry and use this knowledge to tailor sales strategies and messaging.
- Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, district leaders, and other decision-makers.
- Consultative Selling: Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultative discussions to understand the unique requirements and pain points of potential clients, and propose tailored solutions that address their needs.
- Pipeline Management: Manage and prioritize a pipeline of leads and opportunities, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-up to move prospects through the sales funnel.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, marketing department, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of strategies and maximize opportunities for success.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on product features, updates, and industry best practices to effectively articulate the value proposition and differentiate our offerings in the market.
- Achievement of Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets and KPIs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or related field (preferred).
- Proven track record of success in a sales or business development role, with experience in B2B sales preferred.
- Strong understanding of the EdTech landscape, including familiarity with various educational technology solutions, learning management systems, Content Development Lifecycle, and digital learning tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Highly motivated, self-driven, and resilient with a passion for driving business growth.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other sales productivity tools.
