Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent service throughout their dining experience
- Assist with bussing and resetting tables as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate food preparation and delivery
- Utilize POS system (such as Aloha POS) to process orders and payments
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
Experience:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or food service industry is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food preparation techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is beneficial
- Strong customer service skills, including the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and tact
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
