Job Summary/Objective:

As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will play a key role in building our sales pipeline in order to support our rapidly growing business. As a member of the team, you will coordinate closely with the Sales and Marketing Team to research and do personalized outreach to a targeted list of accounts to generate sales opportunities. Our SDR’s are typically the first and therefore most important opportunity to make a positive impression on a potential customer, so you will be responsible for representing the KETOS brand and initiating a relationship that will set the tone for your prospects' customer lifecycle.

A successful candidate will be a self-starter, with high energy, positive phone presence, have a team player mentality, and is willing to take coaching advice and apply it immediately. Must have a proven track record of effective, credible lead generation and sales development at multiple levels within an organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Methodically research, prospect and do personalized outreach to targeted accounts via phone, email to generate sales opportunities.
  • Understand KETOS offerings and competitive positioning to effectively communicate and apply them to a prospects needs.
  • Schedule meetings and product demos for the sales team.
  • Manage inbound leads process to maximize conversion and pipeline development.
  • Accurately enter, update, and maintain daily activity and prospect information in Salesforce.com.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas and objectives.
  • Collaborate with marketing to support and execute on campaigns
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through creative follow-up communications designed to increase customer interest in KETOS products and services.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years in Sales Development Representative role or related inside sales role, selling SaaS or in a related field.
  • Must have common knowledge of standard concepts, practices, procedures, and terminology within the sales field.
  • Phone, email, and social media prospecting experience.
  • Skill in developing prospect lists from targeted markets, researching targeted markets, accounts and personas.
  • Proven track record of success as a Sales Development Representative or Inside Sales Representative.
  • Understands SaaS sales and sales of recurring revenue models.
  • Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Has been a quota carrier or delivered on monthly and weekly KPIs performance metrics.
  • Highly skilled in outbound prospecting, negotiation, and presentations skills
  • Ability to build rapport with prospects and cultivate new prospects.
  • Must have strong, professional and courteous communication and sales skills
  • Must be metrics oriented with excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Sales driven, ambitious, disciplined and has a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills with an emphasis in active listening, presentation, oral, and abstract reasoning.
  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and be adaptable to change.
  • Team player who has proven interaction with sales and marketing teams and willing to go above and beyond to help others.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com, but not required.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
