Job Description:
As a Sales Development Success Representative at Vicon, you can take control of your own destiny. In this role, the sky is the limit! You will drive outbound prospecting campaigns (email, phone calls, & social media) to identify potential customers that would benefit from Vicon’s solutions. You will be the first point of contact with potential customers with the objective of setting qualified meetings for the Outside Sales Team and performing qualifying meetings and demonstrations for yourself. Responsibilities:
- Modern prospecting methodologies and use of tools to mine for potential prospects, build and manage an accurate lead pipeline, and maintain a high volume of activity including outbound calls, emails, & social selling perform to grow customer acquisition
- Develop superior customer service relationship with generated leads and prospects
- Identify key contacts for prospecting and conduct baseline research for target accounts
- Discover new leads and competitive landscape through internet research and social media monitoring/messaging, and using tools such as LinkedIn Navigator, Sales Intel, Construct Connect, Twitter
- Prospect new clients and perform outreach through discovery calls, email campaigns, and automated sequences at high-volume, and/or other creative ways you can think of with an eye toward exceeding expectations
- Methodically qualify all sales/marketing leads generated based upon specific lead qualification criteria, analyzing level of interest and priority to determine business opportunity- nurturing the lead to a point of handoff to RSM or Technical Sales
- Schedule, and conduct meetings and present general corporate demonstrations and campaign presentations around our product offerings for pre-qualified prospects
- Provide weekly and monthly reports to management, providing updates on activity, metrics and KPI targets
- Enter and keep CRM (HubSpot) updated with lead status, notes, and progress
- Propose new lead generation strategies and ways in identifying the best potential target teams/companies
- Assist Inside Sales team with new customer onboarding, process improvements, and provide department coverage resources
- Support Executives and Sales to ensure qualified leads convert into paid clients by getting them timely, conducive information
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree (or min 2 years relevant business/work experience)
- Ability to understand and promote technical products and software offerings
- Ability to perform non-technical demonstrations and presentations remotely to potential customers
- Ability to work independently and time manage effectively
- Experience with HubSpot and CRM software a plus, but will train if needed
- Solid understanding of social media platforms and familiar with modern prospecting methodologies and tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Construct Connect, Sales Intel), and willing to learn or suggest new ones
- Versed in Outlook 365 and Teams
- Extremely strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Exemplify grit and enjoy rolling up your sleeves and tackling all tasks necessary to get the job done
