Job description

Inriver is the industry leading software solution that automates the Product Information Management process for our customers.


We are looking to add a rockstar to our Sales Development Team. This position will closely align with the outside sales team to target new accounts, prospecting and identifying qualified opportunities. This is a hybrid role that will require you to be in the Chicago office 3 days per week and work from home 2 days per week. The right candidate has had successful experience within competitive environments. Our Sales Development team has a history of (uncapped) success that we are looking to grow upon.

Responsibilities

  • Create target prospects lists and penetrate key accounts in our ICP
  • Follow-up on inbound marketing leads and identify qualified opportunities providing appropriate levels of information at the right time for interested prospects
  • Profile strategic accounts identifying key individuals, researching and obtaining business requirements and presenting solutions to start the sales cycle
  • Set appointments for sales team when a lead reaches a qualified stage
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing team members on strategic sales approach
  • Ensure successful follow through of sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in CRM application
  • Opportunity to be a future growth role into Sales within the company

Qualifications

  • Successful experience in a highly competitive environment (e.g. sales, business development, or another highly competitive environment)
  • Proven success in an outbound Sales Development motion or something similar
  • Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written, coupled with excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
  • Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
  • High level of integrity and strong commitment to building a successful company
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with SalesForce, Salesloft & LinkedIn preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree , high school diploma or equivalent experience required
