Title:Sales Department Manager

Basic Function:
Heliae is currently seeking a Sales Department Manager. This position is responsible for monitoring agriculture sales and interpreting sales data to Heliae leadership. The Sales Manager will also communicate with distributors and retailers across the country and internationally. The ideal candidate for this role will be able to forecast anticipated market sales, advise upper management about sales performance, take lead in the documentation of orders through a CRM platform, and manage the sales team. They will also analyze sales statistics to determine sales potential and inventory requirements.
Reports to: CRO
Primary Responsibilities and Duties may include but are not limited to:
· Provide reliable estimates and forecasts of future sales for company projections.
· Tracks product orders and sales; provides data for monthly reporting as requested.
· Communicates with the Regional Sales Managers to gather data to input into CRM.
· Analyze sales data to determine forecasted sales.
· Reviews sales goals with Regional Sales Managers.
· Tracks sales pipeline for each Regional Sales Manager.
· Communicates sales goals to the CRO and executive team.
· Manages Regional Sales Managers and conducts weekly sales meetings.
· Assists with getting sales materials out to Regional Sales Managers.
· Assists Regional Sales Managers with creating presentations.
· Manages and interprets sales data.
· Ensure sales database is well maintained with accurate data entry and manage user site permissions.
· Responsible for ensuring all contracts and amendments are entered correctly into the sales database and turn over for final processing.
· Update, maintain and manage customer databases.
· Train and coach Regional Sales Managers to improve sales strategies.
Qualifications:
· Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
· Expertise in CRM software, specifically in managing CRM activities.
· Analyze sales data to identify buying & sales trends.
· Ability to discern meaning from patterns and spot trends from data.
· Attention to detail, to manage the integrity of the CRM data.
· Computer skills: including proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet programs (Microsoft Office Suite including pivot tables required).
· Ability to work with other departments to drive sales.
· Excellent oral/written communication skills.
· Strong leadership abilities and initiative.
· Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Bachelor's Degree, preferred.
· 5+ years of previous experience with CRM and sales trends.
