Job Purpose:

Assist in meeting divisional sales objectives by supporting outside sales staff and the dealer channel, providing timely, accurate, and reliable communication and information to support these objectives.  Supports assigned dealers and/or territories.  Level I coordinators support dealer accounts through partnership with Territory Sales Managers.

What Will You Do?

In order to grow and build a successful career with The Toro Company, you will be responsible for:

Outside Sales Support

  • Provide support to Sales representatives responsible for achieving monthly sales targets, increasing sales through various marketing efforts, and maintaining professional business relationships. 

  • Provide timely response to inquiries by outside sales staff and dealers.

  • Meets or exceeds stated sales objectives for assigned dealers and/or territories by directly engaging with dealer personnel.

Business Intelligence

  • Build, maintain and regularly distribute reports and dashboards using corporate business intelligence platforms.

  • Ensure all data, reports and dashboards are accurate.

  • Conduct analysis and/or research and support ad hoc reporting and analysis needs of Sales, Marketing, Product Marketing, Finance, Parts and Product Forecasting/Allocation teams as required.

  • Support the division’s IBP initiatives.

  • Maintains a sound business relationship with professional, goal-oriented, and financially capable dealers that focus on company brands and grow market share annually.

  • Endeavor to maintain sufficient whole goods inventory, service parts, and accessories in dealer stock to assure retail objectives can be achieved.

  • Timely communicates channel issues with company management.

  • Acting on behalf of company; facilitate, negotiate, and resolve specific sales channel issues that involve dealers and/or end users.

What Do You Need?

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)

  • 1-5 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required, along with demonstrated ability with other Microsoft Office products.

  • SAP experience preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong interpersonal and customer relations skills demonstrated through strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with all levels within and outside of TTC.

  • Strong project management and organization skills

  • Excellent multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple customers, perform diverse job functions and support a high-performing, successful sales team.

  • Must be able to work independently as well as perform as a member of a team.

  • Experience using a CRM system (Salesforce.com or similar)
