POSITION OVERVIEW
The Sales Coordinator is responsible for managing the preparation, presentation, reporting and merchandising support for the Sales Teams. The position also manages company samples for the channel. The Sales Coordinator provides high level of customer service to the Sales Team and is the lead for key Customer Compliance and effectively facilitates the internal process to enable accurate and timely sales process. In partnership with Marketing, the position produces the annual Buyer's guide and eCommerce platforms
This position is required to travel up to 10% of the time.
REPORT & LIAISE
The Sales Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Sales, Sporting Goods - North America. This position will liaise with other Sales Coordinators, Sales Representatives, Finance, Warehouse Team, Marketing, Inside Sales, IT, QC and Product Team.
ACCOUNTABILITES

  • Manage pre-book codes in inventory management system and create booking forms.
  • Manage Account portals including creating Store Specific Orders. Participate in training, as appropriate, to stay up to date on portal/system updates.
  • B2B maintenance including, and not limited to, annual additions, and imagery and description updates.
  • Generate accurate sales reports and vet current and prior year's forecasts.
  • POS data gathering, organizing and scrutinizing NPD data.
  • Administer trade show preparation including coordination of samples, merchandising and securing collateral.
  • Onboard new sales representatives.
  • Partner with Marketing to create annual Buyer's Guide.
  • Manage sell-in preparation, including customer item set-up and wholesale item set-up in ERP and customer portals.
  • Design plan-o-gram for each account based on feedback from each Sales Reps/Key Account Manager.
  • Work with Director to develop key account programs to include product assortment, SMU cost estimates and pricing.
  • Execute and fully implement assortments, specifically selected by customers.
  • Administer sales presentations including assisting with Power Point presentations and coordinating collateral including POP.
  • Manage rework process with 3PLs.
  • Manage discontinued inventory disposition lists.
  • Maintain and manage sample shipments and storage area; Manage donations and product seeding of samples.
  • Ensure sales team is provided storyboards, product information, catalogs and up to date price lists in a timely manner.
  • Assist with developing Power Point presentations.
  • Partner with Marketing to develop item set-up with eCommerce platforms.
  • Develop, document, and maintain standard operating procedures for Customer Specific portals and internal reporting procedures.
  • Coordinate global and local pricing to develop an accurate price list after researching and applying duty and freight costs; Work with Configuration Manager and Product Development Managers to ensure accurate prices are maintained in the system including Customer specific pricing for Domestic and Direct Import pricing; Create and maintain dealer price lists and close out lists.
  • Maintain customer item agreements; Maintain customer discount levels per annum.
  • Act as lead for Customer Compliance requirements.
  • Research and purchase swag.
  • Prepare and distribute a variety of sales reports including Weekly Sales report and KPI reports (i.e. Point of Sales, On-Time-In-Full, Out of Stocks).
  • Attend Sales conferences and/ or other relevant meetings to keep up to date on all product lines.
  • Understand company's goals and objectives.
  • Stay up to date on industry standards, trends and developments.
  • Make timely and ethical decisions both systematically and under pressure.
  • Perform, with a team approach, other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Advanced proficiency of Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of ASI system, a plus
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Equivalent of at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Professional Sales Support.
  • Must have experience and general knowledge of consumer products distribution, sales and marketing activities, including general retail merchandising, plan-o-gram activities, sales presentation activities, retailer compliance requirements, and general familiarity with retail packaging configurations.
  • Strong analytical skills a must.
  • Experience working in small team environment helpful.
  • Experience in a high pace, deadline driven environment.
  • Strong commitment to customer service essential.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices.
  • Aptitude for learning new technology.
  • Attention to detail, Organized, Resourceful and Self-Sufficient.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree required. Equivalent of at least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in Professional Sales Support.

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL/MENTAL DEMANDS
Located in a professional office environment and at times a warehouse environment. This position requires working at a keyboard and remaining stationary for long periods of time. The employee constantly operates a computer and other office equipment. Repetitive movement of arms, hands and fingers. The employee needs to occasionally move about the building (including entering offices and the warehouse), and position self to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. This position frequently communicates with others and must be able to exchange accurate information. This position must have close visual acuity to perform tasks safely. The employee may frequently need to lift, carry or otherwise move and position objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds*.
The position requires the employee must remain professional and composed under pressure resulting from a multitude of duties and situations which must be handled simultaneously. The employee must maintain control in deadline situations, be quick to think and respond with appropriate judgment.
*The employee is required to lift and carry items or objects, with or without carrying handles, in a correct manner. Proper lifting and carrying technique training will be provided by Aqualung upon request.

PAY RANGE: $52,000 to $65,000 annually
Base pay is a portion of our total compensation package and determined within a range that allows growth and development within your role. Your base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
