LA Bikini is at the forefront of a generational shift in the way beautiful skin is achieved. We’ve cast aside the methods of the past, namely hot wax, in favor of a more modern, more comfortable technique called “sugaring.” Simply put, it’s the removal of unwanted body hair by applying a proprietary sugar paste that goes on cool, comes off easily, and leaves skin unbelievably smooth. So smooth, in fact, we call it, “The New Smooth.”

Job Description:

This job requires a blend of skill, competency, and immense dedication. A friendly outgoing individual who is comfortable engaging customers and who is a champion for the business. Someone who is not satisfied with just achieving their goals or completing tasks, but exceeding them. Sales Associate reports to the Studio Manager and works on their direction for meeting company objectives.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Educate and promote the benefits of sugaring over traditional hair removal methods

• Greeting customers, responding to questions, improving engagement with merchandise, and providing outstanding customer service.

• Assist in reaching membership and retail goals set by Studio Manager

• Maintain high company standards of a professional, clean, and safe work environment for employees, members, and guests

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of front desk, common areas, service rooms, and retail shelves

• Maintain a respectful and professional environment

• Assist in administrative tasks and other duties assigned by management

• Operating cash registers, managing financial transactions, and balancing drawers.

• Complete all daily opening and closing procedures Requirements & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required

• Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, able to multi-task, tech-savvy (phone and computer/iPad) skills & quick learner

• Strong interpersonal skills with customer service and sales background

• Basic cash handling and math experience

• Works as a team in a fun and upbeat environment

• Have interest/experience in hair removal and the beauty industry

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 – 30 per week
