Skyview Concessions operates premiere retail, specialty, Duty Free, and dinning concessions at California's largest airports (Los Angeles International (LAX), San Francisco International(SFO), and Sacramento International (SMF).
Overview
As the Sales associate, you will be the brand ambassador and a friendly face of Skyview Concessions, Inc. You will work in the most important role on the sales floor and be the first direct conduit between our Products and our Customers. You will build the customer loyalty and relationships while challenging yourself with the sales and productivity targets.
Wage: $22.25/hr plus incentives
Available shifts:
4pm-midnight
noon-8pm/ 2pm-10pm

Responsibilities
• Assist customers in selecting, purchasing, and refunding merchandise while demonstrating your excellence in customer service.
• Complete customer transactions in a professional and timely manner
• Identify customer's temperaments and recommend products that suit their style
• Respond to customer queries and complaints in a polite and courteous manner; refer to the Manager on Duty if appropriate.
• Assist other sales staff in peak periods to ensure customers in all areas are attended to promptly, with waiting time reduced to the minimum.
• Ensure floor presentation meets or exceeds brand and company requirements.
• Maintain reasonable stock levels of all merchandise in the department.
• Be familiar with the store layout; direct customers to merchandise, services and facilities as appropriate.
• Assist the Management team in the coordination and execution of merchandising activities, e.g. inventory management, promotional activities and merchandise stock flow
• Able to work independently.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job.
• Minimum 1 year sales or cashiering experience in a retail environment
• Proficient with handling a POS register machine.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• High energy level, have a positive approach to job and group responsibilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours / shifts, including weekends, nights and holidays. Able to work overtime hours when necessary.
• Fluency in English language.
• Multi-lingual ability is a plus.
