Sales And Office Support For Online Newspaper

Expectations:

Sales- The Bradenton Times has just launched a new website platform. We are looking for an individual to help maximize the revenue potential of the new site platform. The work for sales will be part in person and part remote. Pay will include the ability for revenue sharing on all new revenue.

The job will require:

• Social marketing skills,
• The ability to create static and video/audio online ads,
• Excellent editing capabilities,
• The ability to work without daily supervision.

Office - The office part will consist of invoicing, collecting, and managing customers. This will include managing paid subscriptions.

Requirements:

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Graphics, and Social postings,

- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software,

- Strong organizational and time management skills,

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, including working with others.

This is a key role within the organization that requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.

Future Goals - The Bradenton Times needs to increase revenues. This position provides a person the ability to secure a ground floor opportunity to help maintain the revenue required for a local news organization. The revenue potential should increase continuously allowing an individual to have a long time position.

As an alternative, this position could be part time with flexible hours.

Sales experience is preferred but not a requirement.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
