Job Description
Responsibilities:
· Prospecting for new business
· Contacting potential customers
· Participating in quoting process
· Maintaining good working relationships with all current customers
· Maintaining all processes taken on by sales department and making sure these processes are completed correctly
· Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts & customer stakeholders
· Responsible for working to onboard and integrate new clients and developing existing client relationships
Qualifications / Requirements:
· Extensive network and contact base in medical industry – especially amongst convertors and contract
manufacturers plus OEM’s.
· Program Management Experience required:
o Organization
o Planning
o Representing accurately voice of customer feedback to internal teams
o Trade Show management
o Project tracking
o Knowledge of regulations and certifications in the medical field.
o Commercial finance experience.
o Strong team player with ability to work both independently and as a team member.
o Business travel required.
Key Must Have’s:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering or Sales – degree a must. Master’s degree is a plus.
· Must have a strong financial acumen.
· 10 – 15 years, flexible, more interested in current network of people in the Advanced wound car, Medical Wearable and Diagnostics market.
· Will take on a SALES HUNTER role – Hunt and land accounts at a profitable level
o Initially would be assigned 2 accounts.
o Also need to be able to Hunt new accounts based in their connections in the industry.
· Must be savvy in front of Client – professional sales attitude.
· Will hunt accounts in Medical Industry:
o Advanced Wound care market.
o Medical Wearables market.
o Diagnostics market.
o Foam manufacturing process and chemical experience a PLUS
o Knowledge of process flow from a manufacturing stand point PLUS
o Foam fabrication understanding and the equipment used to create products from this. PLUS
o Will need to understand how to read the basics of a part drawing PLUS
· Responsible for creating proposal and getting client to accept it (will have Technical Sales Engineer and Back office finance to help with the technicals and pricing) They will gather all this and put together in a proposal format.
· CRM experience it is a plus.
· Strong usage of Excel.
· Travel: Yes, Up to 40% Mainly USA and some European locations. Passport needed: Yes
