In January 2009, A-One Chipseal purchased the assets of Rocky Mountain Pavement Maintenance, Inc. and in September 2022, we purchased the assets of Rocky Mountain Parking Lot Services, Inc. We provide preventive maintenance construction including resurfacing asphalt streets, roads, parking lots and highways and have completed numerous diverse projects for various cities, counties and CDOT across the Front Range.

Job Description
The Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Safety & Loss Control within the company.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- New Hires Orientation
- Manage Safety Meetings / Toolbox Topics
- Chair the Safety Committee
- Review all Driver Records for Accuracy and Ensure they are up to date
- Equipment training
- Report to the Safety enforcement committee
- GPS/Camera setup, Monitoring, Reporting
- Insurance Claim Reporting/Tracking
- Manage Property Damage Claims/Loss Prevention Tracking
- Workers Comp Investigation/Reporting/Tracking
- DVIR and Post Trip Tracking/Reporting
- Site Inspection and reporting order
- Maintain/Track all PPE
- Drug/Alcohol Screening/Designated Employer Representative
- Avetta/Browz/OSHA Reporting
- Perform all these same tasks for Trinity Traffic Control Company
Education and Training:
- No specific education is required, needs on-the-job training, encouraged to participate and get training and certification applicable to Safety, knowledge of operations and shop functionality and protocol.
Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.

- Rules, Regulations, Laws - keep current on company policy, state and federal guidelines/laws Including, but not limited to OSHA requirements and DOT Compliance
- Experience developing and managing budgets, and hiring, training, developing, supervising, and appraising personnel.
Certificates, Licenses and Regulations:
- Driver license, CSP Preferred
Supervision and Technical Responsibilities:
- Computer skills including Email, Excel, and Word
Contacts:
- Daily contact with persons in the same work unit and persons in other departments to maintain relationships.
- General public communications as needed.
Safety to Self and Others:
- Safety meetings, toolbox meetings, PPE, equipment safety, and cleanliness.
