Safe Harbor is a Christ-centered community for rebuilding, renewing, and recovery. Our non-profit serves women recovering from substance use disorder, women living in low poverty and/or experiencing homelessness, and women in transitional housing.
Primary Job Functions:
- Work as a team member with the Community Services staff
- in both The Passageand TheCommunity Center.
- Guests are acclimated efficiently to the expectations, regulations, rules, and schedules of each program. Ensure that guidelines are communicated and followed by guests and volunteers.
- Communication within the programs is strong and daily operations run efficiently.
- Maintain documentation - including Daily Shift Notes, Activity Sheets, and Apricot Software - to capture accurate, comprehensive information and reflect a guest’s experience.
- Maintain a hospitable, clean, and organized service area.
- Assist/Lead Devotions, Classes, and Groups as needed.
- Make purchases (grocery, gas, etc.) as needed, complete, and submit documentation appropriately.
- Report building, vehicle, and equipment maintenance as needed to the Community Services Manager
- Provide transportation as needed - appointments, Salvation Army route, grocery shopping, etc.
- COMMUNITY CENTER SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Actively work with guests to assist them in identifying and working toward daily goals.
- Identify and connect guests to appropriate resources and offer assistance as required.
- Assist with Donation Intake.
- The Passage SPECIFIC DUTIES:
- Create a supportive home environment assisting the guests, as needed, with working towards their personalized goals as outlined in their Individualized Service Plan.
- Provide basic housekeeping, laundry, grocery shopping, transportation, and other services as needed and assist guests in coordination of home management (laundry, meals, etc.).

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
