The Finer Diner & Darlin’s Fried Chicken has openings for full-time, cooks, kitchen prep, and food runners to work during the Houston Rodeo! The rodeo runs from 2/27-3/17. You would need to be available for training on either February 25th or 26th.
Working at the Rodeo is a fun place to work and you make some extra money. We provide a vendor pass that allows you to park for free and admission into the rodeo. You will also get a couple of uniform shirts to wear and free meals during your shift.
DATES & HOURS OF OPERATION
In general, the food booths hours will be from 9:00 am – 10:00 pm daily. We prefer to hire people that are available to work from open to close every day for the 20 days the rodeo is on. Preferred part-time shifts are from 4:00PM close and open to close on the weekends.
POSITION STATUS
You will be hired as an independent contractor which means we will not withhold any taxes from your paycheck. You will receive 1099 for your taxes in January of 2024.
Need people with a great attitude, willing to learn, or already know how to cook food and prepare food items. No foul language and no being under the influence.
The pay rate varies depending on position, prior experience, and if you are looking to work from open to close every day or only part-time.
