Cafeteria Helper- Food Prep/ Cook

AtWork Personnel in Tyler is seeking to fill a Food Prep/ Cook role for a local hospital in Tyler. Join the growing team, apply today!
Available shifts:

• 12pm-8:30pm
• 2pm-10:30pm
• 3pm-11:30pm

Compensation $16.50
Position Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of menu items according to prescribed recipes and portioning, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
• Grill, fry, or otherwise cook food items to perfection, adhering to all safety and hygiene standards.
• Stay updated on current menu choices, dietary restrictions, and allergies, ensuring special dietary needs are met.
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a cook or in a similar culinary role is required, especially in a healthcare or an institutional setting.
• Knowledge of various cooking procedures and methods such as grilling, baking, boiling, etc.
• Must be able to provide a TB test and a copy of an updated shot record.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
