Welcome to WET, the pioneering force behind groundbreaking fountain designs and engineering marvels worldwide, from the Fountains of Bellagio to the awe-inspiring Dubai Fountain (the world’s largest choreographed fountain), and hundreds more. WET harnesses the elements of nature – water, fire, ice, fog, and light – to evoke emotions, transcend the mundane, and captivate audiences across the globe.
If you are a visionary thinker, a creative problem-solver, and have a deep appreciation for the transformative power of water, we invite you to join us. Together, let's continue to push the boundaries of imagination, technology, and artistry crafting iconic masterpieces that merge engineering and beauty.
Robotics & Electronics Technician, Test Engineering Technician
Works closely with an elite electrical engineering team testing, debugging, and assembling prototype electronic assemblies used in a wide variety of applications including robotics, LED lighting, and servo and induction motor control. Analyzes prototype and field failures to identify root causes. Performs and designs tests to validate scientific concepts in electronic, thermal, corrosion, optical, and mechanical systems.
Work varies widely from building massive test rigs for high-voltage, electric vehicle batteries to taking precise torque and power measurements on tiny stepper motors. One day may be in the lab taking oscilloscope captures, while the next could be in waders in a pool, testing fluid dynamics of a new nozzle design.
Requires proficiency in the following areas:
· Reading schematics and wiring diagrams (proficiency in Altium preferred)
· Creating documentation (for example, test reports and work instructions)
· Ability to use multimeters to take current, voltage, and power measurements
· Comfortable working with dangerous AC mains voltage and high-voltage DC batteries
· Building cable harnesses including a proficiency with a variety of crimping tools
· Soldering rework, SMT and through-hole parts (IPC certification preferred)
Candidates will benefit from an understanding in the following:
· Creating their own schematics or wiring diagrams
· Capable of designing their own tests and test plans
· Plumbing for coolant loops, high pressure fog, and high flow pumps
· Proficiency with oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, function generators
· Ability to use LTSpice, or other simulation tools
· Understanding of thermal power transfer and thermocouples
· Capability to write or modify simple Arduino or Python scripts
· Knowledge of pressure and flow relationships for pumps and fans
