We are seeking a skilled Robotics Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Robotics Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, maintenance, and repair of our robotic systems. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting routine maintenance tasks, and implementing improvements to enhance system performance.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Plan and perform predictive, preventive, and reactive maintenance.
- Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance on robotic systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.
- Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges and common test equipment for calibration, diagnosis and repair or maintenance of equipment.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to resolve equipment malfunctions efficiently.
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
Do You Have?
- Associate degree or technical certification in robotics, mechatronics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience working with robotic systems in a maintenance or technician role.
- Strong knowledge of robotic programming, troubleshooting techniques, and maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with various types of robotic equipment, such as articulated arms, automated assembly lines, and industrial robots.
- Proficiency in reading technical diagrams, schematics, and manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a team
- Ability to perform electrical, hydraulics and pneumatics, machinery rebuilds, reconditioning, and modifications of an advanced nature.
- Ability to read and understand equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and mechanical drawings.
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication - both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain a safe and clean working environment while adhering to company policies, quality policies, and industry standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
- Detail oriented, organized, and able to demonstrate a high sense of urgency.
- Strong troubleshooting skills
