Job Description
BHS Corrugated North America is currently seeking a Mechanical Help Desk Technician specializing in corrugator support to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and BHS technicians and engineers, assisting in the resolution of mechanical corrugator issues remotely. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting, coordinating service interventions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Provide remote support to customers and BHS technicians and engineers for mechanical corrugator issues.
- Collect and evaluate technical information, creating and managing service tickets efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and BHS Headquarters for effective troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and product developments.
- Coordinate service interventions, including administrative and organizational activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a BHS field service or helpDesk Technician.
- Proficiency in interpreting pneumatic and hydraulic schematics, mechanical drawings, and operational manuals.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, with or without direct supervision.
- Availability for occasional travel up to 25% and work during non-standard hours as needed.
- Physical capability to perform various tasks on customer locations, including lifting and maneuvering objects weighing at least 30 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Experience with SAP and specialized applications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other commonly used software.
