$/hr minimum - $/hr maximum (range increases based on education, experience and certifications)
Responsible for care and management of patients with wounds/ostomies
Responsibilities- Safety
- Manages processes effectively in regard to employee/patient safety.
- Record Keeping
- Maintains all required records, reports, statistics, logs, files and other documents as required.
- Process Improvement
- Promotes a culture of process improvement by establishing unit/department based programs that supports the system's process improvement goals.
- Actively participates on system-wide or hospital-based teams.
- Role Specific Responsibilities
- Provides case management to a group of patients completing specific assessments according to evidence based practice/ protocols, clinical competence in procedural skills, treatments and patient/caregiver education related to wound and/or ostomy care/treatment.
- Provides efficient and effective care in collaboration with the physician and is able to manage a number of patients at the same time
- Collaborates with other health care providers, Supervisors, Managers, Physicians, and Directors, regarding department and patient needs.
Associate Degree RN
IL licensed RN
BLS
Technical Experience: 2 years RN; 1 year WOUND CARE
