The Wound Care Coordinator (RN/LPN) will:
- Direct the overall management of all Wound Care in the facility
- Be responsible for the provision of treatments to patients with updates to the physician and other members of the clinical team
- Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer; chart and document per facility policy
- Educate peer staff in proper Wound Care and serve as a resource for the clinical team
Wound Care Coordinator (RN/LPN) must have the following:
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)/ Registered Nurse (RN)
- Wound Care Certification: 1 year
- Long-term care experience
- CPR Certified
- Promote and facilitate teamwork
- Demonstrate a high standard of ethics
- Leadership and supervisory skills
- Able to make independent decisions
- Demonstrate excellent customer service
