Job Summary
Golden Modesto Care Center in Modesto, CA is seeking a RN Supervisorto coordinates the administrative and clinical functions for a defined resident population and time frame to ensure an effective and efficient environment for residents, family, and staff.
Essential Position Duties:
- Ensure nursing operational standards are met
- Provide reports on productivity, quality, and customer service metrics
- Inform family members about medical procedures and doctors’ instructions
- Handle complaints or other issues
- Establish a compassionate environment by providing psychological support to patients, family, and friends
- Keep records of nurses’ files, patients’ cases, and procedures
- Handles Admissions
Education, Licensure, & Experience Requirements:
- Must possess a current RN license. License must be in good standings.
- Must have a minimum 1 year of experience as a supervisor in a healthcare setting.
- Must have training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledgeable of nursing and medical practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to nursing care facilities.
