What you get to do:
As a Ride Operator, you’ll provide the highest level of guest service and satisfaction. Your positive attitude and can-do spirit will make all the difference as you help create positive, lasting memories for our guests. You will:
- Monitor and operate rides, ensure all safety regulations are being met
- Complete opening safety checklists and test rides prior to opening rides to guests
- Assist in loading and unloading guests from ride
- Ensure all guests meet the rider requirements
- Greet and interact with guests
- Answer questions and resolve guest issues
- Advise guests on show times and attraction information
- Facilitate an organized guest traffic flow
- Maintain cleanliness of all assigned areas
- Ensure guest safety at ride locations
- Perform other duties as assigned
What else is important:
- At least 18 years of age
- Strong communication and public speaking skills
- Must be able to act responsibly with a high attention to safety
- Excellent multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to train on and properly use protective equipment
- Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift
- Ability to push/pull up to 40 pounds
- Must be comfortable with heights
- You must successfully pass the company provided and paid American Red Cross certification trainings to include CPR and AED
- Must maintain a professional appearance to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
- Comfortable working around water and animals
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Must provide flexible, consistent availability (including nights, weekends, and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement
- Ability to successfully complete all legal, company, and department training requirements within established timelines
