What do we need?

The Entry Ride Operator is the conductor and entertainer for our members while making sure all vehicles are being processed safely and efficiently into the car wash tunnel. The Entry Ride Operator interacts with all customers and is responsible for exterior site cleanliness and creating a memorable experience in all interactions while preparing the vehicles prior to entering the car wash tunnel. A successful candidate would love working outdoors in all conditions and will be confident in getting dirty to get the job done! You must be highly motivated, have an outgoing, friendly personality, and have excellent communication skills - bilingual a plus! We will provide extensive hands-on and online training for all team members.

General Requirements:

• Authorized to work in the U.S. and pass a background check
• 16 years of age or older
• Willing to work evenings and weekends
• Basic Computer Skills
• Self-motivated
• Mechanical aptitude or knowledge a plus

Responsibilities

• Speak/Sing into microphone or headset
• Entertain customers and members
• Points to directional signs while watching the customer to ensure directions are followed
• Maintain a safe and clean work area; keep alert for potential hazards

We are looking for a Ride Operator to join our team. The Ride Operator will be responsible for ensuring that the Waters Carwash vehicles are in good working order, that guests are comfortable, and that the ride is operating smoothly.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service, sales, or other related fields.
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers, management, and guests.
• Ability to multitask and stay focused on the primary task at hand.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities:

• Inspects rides for cleanliness and functionality, as well as following all laws and Waters Carwash policies and procedures.
• Prepares new guests for rides by educating them about the experience, answering any questions they may have, and providing them with coupons. Prepares ride tickets by entering necessary information into the computer system.
• Answers phones and provides assistance to guests who may be trying to reach the front desk with questions regarding their trip ticket. Prepares email communications by entering information into the system.
• Maintains cleanliness of all areas within the front office (including but not limited to restrooms, break rooms, etc.).
• Ensures that guest expectations are met by keeping parking lot areas clear of debris and keeping signs and signs-of-use clean.
• Ensures that safety expectations are met by taking appropriate measures to prevent accidents, injuries, etc., by keeping equipment areas clean and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
