Business Function
EQ's Reward function operates as a Centre of Excellence within the HR Shared Service model. The Reward, HR, Learning & Development, HR Business Partnering, Resourcing and Engagement Centres of Excellence are supported by our People Services team that deliver our core HR, Payroll and Resourcing support activity.
Role Summary
Reporting to the UK based Global Head of Reward, the purpose of this role is to drive and deliver a commercial, customer focused, pro-active and solutions focused specialist reward service to the business and colleagues.
The Reward Manager is responsible for identifying, implementing and maintaining reward structures to support the strategic direction of the business. These activities and other project work have a global impact (Equiniti has colleagues located in the UK, USA, India, Poland, the Netherlands and South Africa).
Acts as key contact with all third-party compensation and benefits vendor partners.
You will therefore be responsible for providing expert reward advice, support & data and ensuring relevant statutory compliance, with a focus on EQ's US businesses and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Global Head of Reward in delivering EQ's Reward agenda, and EQ's annual and standard remuneration processes (e.g. Salary Review, Bonus, etc.), ensuring they are delivered accurately and within required timeframes. To include the calculation, production and validation of supporting data and the provision of modelling and analysis to aid decision making.
Continually manage the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the overall organization design, encompassing job evaluation/benchmarking and grading structures (job profiles)
Support the Head of Reward in designing, developing and implementing EQ's Reward plan including compensation, bonus, commission, health/welfare benefit renewals and redesign, 401k, LTIP, and so on.
Ensure accurate participation in salary surveys and recommend new surveys to ensure adequate representation for all of the organization's jobs worldwide
Manage the delivery of the annual benefits enrolment and administration processes in the US in concert with HR colleagues.
Oversee the administration of US Benefits and 401(K) plans, liaising with stakeholders including our financial advisers, and running respective filing requirements.
Continually listen to colleagues and understand impact of the reward plan for all.
Ensure that colleagues are treated fairly and accurately in all our reward processes and that they are clear, easy to follow and well communicated
Leverage technology and look for ways to simplify our processes so the team can operate more efficiently (e.g. through Workday)
Deliver knowledge on the market and competitor remuneration and advise accordingly
Lead on the planning and implementation of Reward program and projects
Maximize the application of compensation tools to support business initiatives/pay strategies
Secondary point of escalation of compensation and benefit related queries and calculations
Oversight of the administration and periodic reporting related to EQ's all colleague LTIP.
Assist the wider Global Reward team with projects, reporting and analysis
Scan and keep abreast of emerging Reward trends and practices.
Lead merger & integration analysis and due diligence
Oversight of EQs global recognition plans, ensuring value for money and employee outcomes
Skills, Qualifications, Knowledge and mobility
The successful candidate will be able demonstrate the following:
Proven analytical experience; interpreting data and using information to inform business options and outcomes.
Sound knowledge of incentive structures, benefits, grading, pay structures, pensions, pay and related legislation.
Experience with benchmarking and global compensation data (e.g. WTW / Hay / Mercer, etc)
Highly commercial, collaborative, engaging and credible, with the ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
Demonstrable project management skills
Experience of managing multiple reward programs and projects, with significant budgetary management in a complex global environment
A demonstrable track record of building strong influential relationships, establishing yourself as a trusted partner and expert in Total Reward
Highly proficient in the use of Excel (able to build complex models)
Broad knowledge of HR systems, and highly skilled in producing and analyzing reports.
Excellent numerical and analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data, and to present, analyze and propose recommendations clearly.
Occasional travel to other US offices
Compensation
- $115,000-130,000 per year
