Meet our team:
The Shopping & Rewards team is enhancing PayPal’s consumer value proposition through a new cashback rewards program and commerce-oriented shopping experiences. This will enhance our merchant proposition by enabling an advertising network to connect PayPal consumers with the right incentive at the right time to power growth for our merchants.

Your way to impact:

• You will drive commercial planning and strategy for the Shopping and Rewards program, including consumer facing cashback offers and commerce-oriented experiences as well as the merchant facing advertising platform

• You will partner closely with finance, product, sales, and marketing to define go-forward plans grounded in commercial models and then facilitate alignment across key stakeholders to deliver the plans

In your day-to-day role you will:

• Define the go-forward business strategy and frame key strategic decisions and recommendations for PayPal leadership

• Maintain a holistic view of the complex landscape of cashback incentive offers at PayPal including consumer engagement, merchant participation and impact, and PayPal business impact

• Identify and conduct analyses in partnership with analytics to inform the strategy and enable data driven decision making

• Engage consumer research, customer service, and sales and partnerships to champion the voice of the customer and voice of the merchant in our strategy

• Develop and own commercial models and business plans. Define key performance metrics and partner with Finance and Analytics to monitor performance of the business, interpret key results, and identify actionable insights to grow the business

• Build and nurture influential partnerships with key stakeholders across the business including Product, Sales, Marketing, Finance to facilitate alignment and unified execution

• Create an inclusive and trusting work environment and culture where everyone is motivated to perform at their highest level while bringing the best of themselves to work

What you need to bring:

• 5+ years in strategy or at a top tier consulting firm with exposure to strategy

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including executive communication

• Experience with excel and financial models

• Experience with e-commerce, payments, digital advertising, or loyalty programs preferred

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is $99300 to $216040
