Job Summary

The Revenue Cycle Ecosystem QA Support member, is responsible to introduce, develop and implement Quality Assurance (QA) methods to help prevent errors and assure expected results within the Revenue Cycle / Billing ecosystem. Assesses through analysis, scripts, test case scenarios and test plans. The health of system and associated services, the optimization of functionality, the efficiency of operable flows and the accuracy of reporting. Documents diligently, communicates clearly, and serves as liaison to company cross functional teams. This position works closely with the RadNet IT, Revenue Cycle Support Team and other subject matter experts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Understands Radiology and Revenue Cycle processes and systems to help interpret and build upon Revenue Cycle Ecosystem quality assurance standards.
• Works with company cross functional teams, to understand company business requirements to help ensure expected and required outcomes throughout implementations, software releases, system enhancements, process and operable flow improvements and reporting.

• Attends meetings with cross-functional team with responsibility to take detailed notes and share with management team.

• Estimates, prioritizes, plans, coordinates and documents quality testing activities.

• Point person to test .document all system upgrades and works with Reimbursement Operations to coordinate validation of billing system or clearinghouse upgrades or enhancements.

• Creates and executes testing protocols/ test plans for implementation across Revenue Cycle Ecosystem.
• Carefully maintains compliant and nonconformance processing through records and tracking systems, including root cause and corrective actions.
• Develops and executes new quality assurance standards with improvements as needed.
• Identifies training needs and develops training materials to provide to our end user community.
• Identifies and pursues continued education on business systems, solutions, technology.

Minimum Qualifications, Education and Experience

• Detailed and comprehensive communication skills.
• Medical Industry or Revenue Cycle experience (Radiology Billing would be a bonus).
  • Familiar with terms CPT, ICD10.
• Proven work experience in software quality assurance.
  • Knowledge on quality assurance, methods, processes and tools.

• Analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Computer competence.

• Microsoft Office proficiency preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience in Power Pivot skills is helpful.
  • Access knowledge is beneficial.
• SQL and scripting knowledge would be considered an asset.

Physical Demands

This position often requires sitting, standing, walking, bending, twisting, reaching with hands and arms, using hands and fingers, handling, or feeling, speaking, listening, and high-level cognitive thinking. Also, must be able to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. The position requires the ability to travel (~20% of time), drive a vehicle, and utilize other forms of transportation.

$60000 - $65000 / annual
