We were just selected as Providence Journals #1 Sports Bar in Rhode Island. We're currently seeking a passionate, energetic Restaurant Manager to lead our team and contribute to our success.
The Role:
As the Restaurant Manager, you'll be the driving force behind both our front-of-house (FOH) and back-of-house (BOH) operations. This position requires a dynamic individual who can manage the fast-paced nature of a Sports Bar while ensuring an exceptional guest experience. You will oversee inventory management, conduct liquor audits, handle ordering, and manage staff across all areas of the establishment. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining the high standards our customers expect and fostering a positive, productive work environment for our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations of the Sports Bar, ensuring efficiency, quality, and the highest level of service.
- Manage and lead the FOH and BOH teams, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
- Conduct inventory management and liquor audits, maintaining optimal stock levels and ensuring compliance with all regulations.
- Handle ordering of food, beverages, and supplies.
- Implement and maintain health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and safe dining environment.
- Address customer complaints and feedback with professionalism and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Work closely with the kitchen team, contributing kitchen experience to streamline operations and enhance menu offerings.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role, preferably in a fast-paced bar or Sports Bar environment.
- Experience in both FOH and BOH operations, with kitchen experience being a significant plus.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to handle the dynamic demands of a Sports Bar.
- Knowledge of inventory management, ordering, and cost control practices.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact positively with customers and staff.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, specifically Wednesday-Sunday from 4 PM to Midnight.
