Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the overall operations of our business. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about customer service and has strong leadership skills. Responsibilities: - Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring smooth workflow - Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or issues - Manage and train staff members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures - Handle cash handling responsibilities, including opening and closing registers - Utilize POS system to process transactions accurately - Maintain inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed - Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth - Multilingual skills are a plus, as you may need to communicate with diverse customers - Negotiate with vendors to secure favorable pricing and terms - Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when interacting with customers or resolving issues Experience: - Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail or hospitality industry - Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team - Experience in shift management, ensuring proper coverage and efficient operations - Bilingual skills are highly desired, as it allows for effective communication with a diverse customer base - Cash handling experience, including balancing registers and preparing deposits We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including opportunities for career advancement.
