Job Summary
Every new day begins with DAWN! This position is for our new restaurant location scheduled to open in late August.
We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team!
Applicants must have weekend and night shift availability.

All staff must have a strong sense of urgency, possess efficient multi-tasking skills, work well under pressure, vigilantly put out quality products and service, and exude an upbeat, positive attitude! The ideal candidate is a strong leader with experience managing a successful restaurant.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficient in food handling, culinary techniques, and food service industry best practices.
- Assist the General Manager with product ordering, scheduling, and achieving Food, Expense & Labor targets
- Inspect vendor deliveries to confirm accuracy, sign and file delivery invoices
- Supervise FOH and BOH, oversee proper communication between all staff on the shift
- Uphold a fun, positive, and efficient environment for staff and our guests
- Learn and understand how to properly use budgeting tools in google sheets to achieve restaurant goals
- Train and supervise restaurant staff on food handling, culinary techniques, and customer service.
- Monitor food production to ensure timely and accurate preparation of meals.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and update menu offerings.
- Support training for new hires and conduct periodic performance reviews
- Monitor compliance with safety and be a leader for quality and safety
- Develop short and long-term goals and KPIs for the restaurant
- Lead team in providing exceptional customer service
- Create and maintain a food and beverage budget
- Adhere to all health and safety rules and regulations
- Provide sales and productivity reports to upper management
- Develop and coordinate marketing efforts and community events
Qualifications:
- High school diploma/GED
- Experience as a manager or similar role in the Hospitality industry
- Strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, restaurant management software, and POS software
- Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure
- Strong teamwork and leadership skills
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience with inventory software
- Strong math and reporting skills
- Strong background in restaurant management, with a focus on delivering exceptional hospitality experiences.
- Ability to learn, understand and follow budgeting tools through Google Sheets, and Connecteam
