Margaritavilles Restaurant General Managers are responsible for overseeing the daily operations of their dining outlets, ensuring that guests have a positive experience.
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
1.Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise and coordinate all aspects of Front of the House and Back of the House operations within the specific outlet to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
2.Enhance Customer Experience: Champion a culture of exceptional customer service by ensuring prompt resolution of complaints and consistently exceeding customer expectations even in difficult times.
3.Vendor Management: Continuously evaluate product quality and explore new vendor partnerships to maintain high standards and optimize cost-efficiency.
4.Administrative Duties: Execute administrative tasks including reporting, forecasting, quality assurance, and conducting departmental meetings to streamline operations and uphold organizational objectives.
5.Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members, providing constructive feedback and implementing strategies to enhance productivity and job satisfaction.
6.Resource Planning: Forecast future inventory needs for ingredients, kitchen utensils, and cleaning supplies to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
7.Safety and Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to sanitation and safety regulations to safeguard the well-being of customers and employees, maintaining compliance with industry standards.
8.Brand Management: Cultivate and preserve the restaurant's reputation by proactively suggesting initiatives to enhance its image within the community.
9.Cost Control: Implement cost-effective measures to manage operational expenses, identify areas of potential waste, and optimize profitability.
10.Financial Reporting: Generate comprehensive reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses, analyzing financial data to inform strategic decision-making.
11.Community Engagement: Develop and execute strategies to promote the brand locally through participation in community events and leveraging social media platforms for targeted advertising.
12.Employee Training: Facilitate ongoing training sessions to equip both new hires and existing staff with the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional customer service and uphold operational standards.
13.Policy Implementation: Develop and implement policies and protocols to ensure consistency in operations and maintain organizational integrity as the restaurant grows.
What you will bring:
- Demonstrated track record in such roles as Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality management, or other similar positions.
- Proven expertise in providing exceptional customer service experience in managerial capacities.
- Deep understanding of Food and Beverage (F&B) operations, including the ability to efficiently recall ingredients and dishes to assist customers and staff.
- Proficiency in utilizing restaurant management software, preferably InfoGenesis.
- Strong leadership with a knack for motivating and managing teams.
- Sound fiscal management skills, ensuring financial stewardship.
- Punctuality and a consistent record of attendance.
