Job Description
- Manage online filing of donation materials, media, photographs, press releases, and grant documentation.
- Assist with social media and website by updating and crafting content with photos and videos of youth and staff at our Clubhouses.
- Create and assist with the integration of marketing materials and work with a publicist on press release stories and content.
- Coordinate BGCMLA/ Clubhouse events - Help create event materials such as flyers, informational packets, etc., and assist with activities and event RSVPs.
- Work with RD Team in support of the Annual Poker Tournament and Gala for the organization.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a course of higher education or recently received a degree from an accredited postsecondary educational institution.
- Pass a criminal background check.
- Interest in nonprofit fundraising.
- Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications and TB clearance.
- Pass mandatory random drug and alcohol test.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for youth development and community engagement.
- It is necessary to be present in the office at least once every week.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to multi-task and organize projects.
- Strong written and Verbal communication.
- Experience working on the web and with social media platforms.

The position involves lifting; bending; reaching with hands and arms; climbing or balancing; stooping, kneeling, standing, walking, crouching, or crawling; frequent interruptions via in-person contact, phone calls, and email are expected. Will be subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions based on activity location. Required to work around youth and adults where noise levels may be moderate to high during activities. Occasional travel may be required to support club transportation needs within BGCMLA provided vehicles. Physical exertion may be required to lift supplies and equipment.
Work is performed during Club site hours and weekends and/or holidays: however; incumbent may be required to attend meetings or agency events outside regular Club site hours.
