Residential Hvac Lead Technician

ADEEDO/JW has an immediate need for an enthusiastic, self-motivated HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN at our LAX location. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently with great attention to detail, should have exceptional multi-tasking skills,  be organized and able to perform in a fast-paced environment. This is an hourly,  non-exempt, field position. Must be available to work full shifts plus overtime. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to inspect, repair, and conduct maintenance on air conditioning systems, furnaces, coils, and compressors
• Demonstrate respect and compassion when communicating with clients on work performed and on recommendations for repairs or replacement
• Document service performed and recommendations made by completing applicable forms, reports, logs, and/or records
• Complete all tasks in accordance with ASI's quality and safety standards
• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities (internal and/or external)
• Meet sales goals and metrics
• Experience in setting units
• Hands-on experience in brazing, zoning, mini splits, e-pumps.
• Experience with all types of HVAC systems and how each component within the system operates
• Experience with overall operations of the system as a whole.

• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work with high degree of integrity and promote positive company image
• Analytical, focused on quality, and results-driven
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions
• Excel within a team environment and willing to support all areas of our business
• Satisfactory passing of mandatory pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Valid driver's license, with minimal DMV infractions
• EPA Universal Certification
• 3 - 5 years of experience as an HVAC Technician

WORK CONDITIONS:

• Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move objects 10-75 lbs
• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk
• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus
• Work is performed in residential properties (attic, garage, crawl space, roof
• Frequent standing, squatting, sitting for extended periods of time
• Moderate exposure to physical risk
• Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance
