Pay: $41.03/hr
Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Determine daily and weekly work requirements and scheduling work
- Assign daily work to Maintenance Mechanics. ...
- Take periodic inventories of maintenance supplies, tools and prepare ordering information for purchasing.
- Visual inspection of maintenance jobs in progress and upon completion to ensure that quality standards are being met.
- Direct, organize and schedule preventive maintenance and lubrication on production machinery and other plant equipment and facilities
- Build and install new equipment for plant improvement projects and make new tooling and equipment for replacement of worn-out items.

- Assist production personnel with mechanical, electrical or other operational problems with any plant equipment.
- Coordinate, scheduled and assist in performance of emergency maintenance work on a rush basis
- Maintain preventive maintenance, tools and parts, and training records which are necessary.
- Prepare periodic status reports from these records as necessary.
- Originate necessary work orders and plan, schedule and expedite completion of such work orders
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in the training and orientation of Maintenance Mechanic employees
- Attend training programs or sessions to improve level of knowledge and skills consistent with the other job requirements.
- Inform Supervisor of needed parts, equipment or training requirements
- Keep work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition at all possible times
- Wear and maintain in good condition all personal safety devices required and work in a safe and efficient manner at all times
- Develop and maintain a good attendance and employment record
- Any and all other duties outlined and requested by immediate supervisor

Education:
High School
Experience:
4-7 years
Qualifications:
- Journeyman level certifications for Electrical work and history of mechanical work on manufacturing machinery
- Extrusion machine repair and maintenance experience
- Electrical repair experience for production machinery and manufacturing environment.
- High School diploma or equivalent; technical certification or relevant trade qualification preferred
- 5 years of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory/ Lead role within the maintenance field
- Strong knowledge of industrial PLC's, manufacturing equipment, machinery and systems
- Strong experience working with 480v and higher equipment.
- Proficient in diagnosing mechanical, electrical and pneumatic equipment issues
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics and blue prints
