*This is a full-time position, which offers benefits after 60 days of employment. Piece Rate pay which ranges from 75K-100K Depending on Experience and Performance
M and M has an immediate need for a Lead HVAC Installer!
We are looking for hardworking, honest, and dependable individuals who can deliver world-class customer service to join our growing HVAC Installation Team!
As a Lead HVAC Installer, you will:
- Install heating and air conditioning equipment, as well as other products in accordance with company requirements and manufacture specifications.
- Provide project leadership with less experienced HVAC install apprentices to complete install projects
- Focus on safety for self and team members
- Works under minimum supervision to install HVAC equipment in the customer's home
- Completes all paperwork accurately and timely manner
- Provide exceptional customer service. Able to interact with the homeowners while completing installations
- Review equipment with customers such as how to change the filter and operate the thermostat
- Offer additional add on options such as In Door Air Quality products such as filters and humidifiers as well as surge protectors.
Job Skills and Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 or more years in HVAC installation experience in the field
- Proficient in HVAC functional design and installation of ductwork system
- Must have great communication skills
- Experience speaking with customers about Indoor Air Quality products
- Must know how to build and transition duct work
- Must be able to install both the indoor and the outdoor units
- Must know how to Braze and Solder
- Must work well with apprentices
- Knowledge of HVAC parts and their functions
- Exceptional Safety knowledge of tools, testing devices and surroundings
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- EPA 2 Certification Required Universal is Preferred
- Nate Certified is a Bonus
- Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Physical Demands
- The principal duties of this position are performed in a variety of environments, including customer homes, the outdoors, and field environments at development and work sites on uneven and rough terrain.
- Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms.
- Occasionally required to ascend/descend ladders and balance.
- Required to work in outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, and temperature swings, for extended periods of time.
- Requires concentration and attention to detail; requires a high level of organizational and prioritization skills.
- Standing up to 8 hours per day; Walking up to 8 hours per day on uneven, difficult terrain.
- Occasional heavy manual labor to include lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Regular and repetitive grasping, gripping, reaching, bending, stooping, crouching, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and working overhead.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word to impart oral information to others and to convey detailed spoken instructions accurately, loudly, or quickly.
- The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (e.g., machinery alarms, or alarms).
- May work in closed or cramped space on occasion
