Responsibilities:
- Install various types of flooring materials in residential buildings, including hardwood, LVP, and carpet.
- Prepare the subfloor for installation by ensuring it is level, clean, and free of any damages.
- Measure and cut flooring materials to fit the room's dimensions, ensuring accurate cuts and minimizing waste.
- Install flooring materials using appropriate tools and techniques, such as adhesive, nails, or interlocking systems.
- Finish the installation by adding baseboards and trim, ensuring a seamless and professional-looking finish.
- Follow safety guidelines and use protective equipment to ensure personal safety and prevent accidents in the workplace.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Flooring Installer in residential construction.
- Knowledge of various types of flooring materials and their applications.
- Proficient in using hand and power tools, such as saws, drills, and hammers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently.
Hours and Salary:
- Hours: 25 - 40 hrs per week - 1099 Independent Contractor
- Salary: $35/ Hour, Depending on experience
