Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of team members and general contractors in the execution of construction projects in our customers' backyards.
- Hire, train and mentor team members and general contractors to ensure performance according to requirements of the job.
- Forecast materials as well as labor needs for on-time and on-budget project execution.
- Oversee the loading and unloading of materials and equipment
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain accurate records of project activities and inventory
- Collaborate with other departments and store personnel to meet project goals.
- Conduct regular visits to job sites to ensure project execution according to plan.
- Work directly with customers and store personnel to upsell projects and ensure communication during job execution is best in class.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Proven experience in Backyard Construction projects; swimming pools, patios, retaining walls, decks, fences and other hardscapes in a residential environment.
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and processes
- Ability to read and interpret site surveys, construction rendering and blueprints.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and leadership abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
