Telecommunications Lineman, Foreman, Operator and Laborer

Maintaining a valid driver’s license is an essential part of this job.

The following will be expected:

Throwing a rope over elevated cable lines, through tree branches and pulling the lasher down the cable lines.

Operating a bucket truck, climbing ladders and/or poles 40 feet or higher following proper methods and OSHA safety standards.

Use equipment to install anchors.

Assist in pulling aerial cables, lashers, ropes and underground cable into new and existing conduit.

Read maps for day to day assignments.

Prepare/set up sites with proper signs and cones.

Maintenance of tools, equipment and vehicles.

Preform daily truck inspections, keeping vehicle properly stocked and cleaned.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license is required.

Telecommunications Construction - Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the telecommunications construction industry is desirable.

Operation of bucket truck and climbing experience preferred.

High School Diploma/GED desirable.

At least 18 years old.

Must be able to lift 50lbs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Experience:

• Climbing with gaffs: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
