SalaryOverview:
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our construction team. The Carpenter will be responsible for overseeing and executing the carpentry work on various construction projects. This is a leadership role that requires strong carpentry skills, excellent project management abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise carpentry crew on construction sites
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate with other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
- Estimate material and labor costs for carpentry projects
- Plan and schedule work activities to meet project deadlines
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards
- Perform carpentry tasks including framing, installing doors and windows, building stairs, and finishing work
- Provide guidance and training to junior carpenters
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials
- Proficient in reading blueprints and construction drawings
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage budgets, prioritize tasks, and meet project deadlines
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor as required
