Job Summary:
- This position calls for an energetic, self-starter who will take initiative when necessary to help others.
- You will be tasked with operating the after-school program, helping school-age children with their homework, as well as the occasional, child-friendly, activity.
- The position will also assist with adult education events in the role of coordinator as well as performing outreach to the on-site residents.
A successful candidate will:
- Must be a high school graduate or possesses GED equivalency
- Must have one year work or volunteer experience working with adults and children
- Ability to work independently and as a team player
- Be a creative self-starter and enjoy helping others.
- Be willing to take and able to pass pre employment screening
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to promote Resident Services through outreach.
- Bilingual is preferred but not mandatory
