Buchanan Meadows is seeking enthusiastic caregivers to join our team at our Senior Living Facility in Buchanan MI. As a caregiver, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents by providing physical and emotional support. This is a rewarding career path where you can develop essential life skills and form genuine connections with our residents.
Currently we have full time on 3rd shift open, 11pm-7am
Compensation and Benefits:
- Starting caregivers at $14 per hour

Skills:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong ability to provide physical and emotional support
- Ability to work in a team and assist other team members
- Knowledge of infection control procedures
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with care needs, such as dressing, grooming, bathing, and toileting
- Encouraging resident involvement within the community
- Maintaining cleanliness of the environment through light housekeeping
- Assessing for changes in resident condition and communicating immediately to supervisor
- Completing all required documentation and charting
- Communicating professionally with families, support services, and coworkers
- Complying with safety and health standards, including infection control procedures
- Assisting other team members with their duties
- Performing other assigned duties as directed by supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience working with the elderly preferred
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Must be 18 years old
- Reliable transportation
- Able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to work every other weekend
- Positive attitude and punctuality
