SalaryBase Pay Range: $91,200.00 - $155,000.00 Primary Location: USA-MI-Ann Arbor-KLA KLA’s total rewards package for employees may also include participation in performance incentive programs and eligibility for additional benefits identified below. In this role:
- Main responsibilities will be performing electromagnetic simulations and developing next-generation solvers.
- Candidate must be able to work within a small team environment, work with outside contractors, consultants.
- Provide effective presentation and written evaluations to internal customers to show capabilities of the product concept.
- Interface with customers to understand the requirement of their needs.
- Feedback on product performance and market gaps back to the marketing and engineering teams.
- This candidate must work closely with other internal development programs within KLA.
Qualifications
- Doctorate (Academic) in the physical sciences or engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
- Strong background in applied mathematics and electromagnetics.
- Proficient in numerical simulations, preferably in computational electromagnetics.
- Strong background in computer programming, especially in performance profiling, memory optimization, and parallel computing.
- Proficient in C++ and python, especially in writing production-quality, object-oriented code.
- Experience in semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel worldwide to support projects at customer sites is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications
